Looking to advance your skills as a firefighter? Learn from Firefighting Legend Andrew Brassard how to become an expert at forcing doors, so you are as efficient and effective as you can be on scene at real fire calls. Expand and solidify your forcible entry skills and techniques through this specialized training at SFA. You will run multiple scenarios and learn how to force different types of doors, using a range of tools and equipment. Embrace this opportunity to use advanced props, including The Forge: a custom search, rescue, and suppression prop with multiple interior forcible doors, which allows you to master your skills in a realistic, zero visibility environment.
In this course, you will learn: conventional forcible entry with inward and outward swinging doors, forcing padlocks conventionally, forcing garage doors and steel curtain roll-up doors, zero visibility forcible entry, tight space conventional forcible entry, power saw use, hinge-side of door forcible entry, and high security forcible entry (ie. with drop bars and slide bolts). You will practice your skills and apply them to scenarios involving Class A live fire. This course is taught by Andrew Brassard and a team of expert instructors with vast real-life experience. Become the best, trained by the best.
